ASA – 06 – LEOPARD TRAIL.

Day – 1 & 2 – United States – Amsterdam - Kilimanjaro.

Begin your journey to Africa aboard your flight on Northwest Airlines and arrive in Amsterdam Airport the following morning. Continue to Kilimanjaro Airport, where we are met on arrival and transferred to Hotel booked.

Day – 3 - Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater. Breakfast at 08:00 a.m. leave your Hotel leisurely passing through Mto wa Mbu fruit market, Karatu wheat farms arriving in Ngorongoro in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Afternoon descend 610 m. into the Crater floor for game viewing. Late evening ascend to the Crater rim to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day – 4 - Ngorongoro – Serengeti (Lobo Area.)

After breakfast depart to Serengeti leisurely with game viewing en-route stopping at Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Afternoon proceed to Lobo area with game viewing en-route to Lobo Wildlife Lodge. Evening at leisure at the swimming pool. Dinner overnight.

Day – 5 - Lobo Area.

After breakfast leave for game drive along the Kleins Camp to Bologonja border, viewing the rolling mountains in search of the “Big Five” Leopard, Lion, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. Lunch break at the Lodge. Afternoon and evening at leisure at the swimming pool. Dinner overnight.

Day – 6 - Lobo - Seronera.

Sunrise game drive starts at 06.30 a.m return to the lodge breakfast 08.30 a.m proceed to Seronera area with game viewing en-route. Lunch break at Seronera Wildlife Lodge or similar. Afternoon free. Evening further game drive in search of the predator, cheetah hunting. Dinner overnight.

Day – 7 - Still At Serengeti.

Breakfast 07.45 a.m. Today with picnic lunch boxes depart for full day “Discover Serengeti Tour.” Visiting the Musabi plains and along the Kirawira to view the giant crocodiles. Dinner overnight.

Day – 8 - Seronera – Balloon Safari - Ngorongoro.

Day – 9 - Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast in 4WD descend 610m into the Crater floor for a Crater tour in search of the big five, lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo elephant and other plain game. Afternoon ascend to your Lodge for lunch. After lunch pay visit to the Maasai bomas to interact with their culture. Dinner overnight.

Day – 10 - Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara.

After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara via Gibbs Farm. Go for guided walk through the coffee farm and visit the water falls returning to the Farm House in time for lunch.

Afternoon at leisure in the garden. Late evening drive leisurely to Lake Manyara Hotel or Lake Manyara Serena Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day – 11 - Lake Manyara - National Park.

Breakfast descend the Great Rift Valley 600 m. to Lake Manyara for game viewing in search for the famous tree climbing lions. Visit the hot water sulphur springs (60^OC.) called Maji moto and will reputedly cook an egg in about 30 minutes. Lunch break at your Hotel. Afternoon and Evening free at the swimming pool. Dinner overnight.

Day – 12 – Lake Manyara – Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast leave your Hotel for Arusha passing through Mto wa Mbu fruit market for fresh fruits onwards to Tarangire National Park for morning game viewing. Break for lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Afternoon further game viewing along the Tarangire River in search for Elephants and other plain game. Late evening return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day – 13 &14 Tarangire – Arusha – Amsterdam – United States.

After breakfast at leisure at the swimming pool. After lunch leave your Hotel for Arusha game viewing en-route onwards to Oldoinyo Orok or Heritage center for purchases of carvings and precious stones arriving in the evening in Arusha for snacks and shower at Impala Hotel or similar. Day – 8 - Dar Es Salaam – Mikumi National Park – 300km. - 3:45 hrs.

Day – 9 - Mikumi Ruaha National Park – 322km. – 6:00 hrs.

Day – 10 - Ruaha – Mikumi National Park.

Breakfast depart for Mikumi, lunch stopover at Iringa Town, visit to Isimila Stone age site considered the finest site in East Africa. The site was one a shallow lake, now dried up. Tools found there are believed to date from 60,000 years ago. Depart to Mikumi N. Park for sun downer game drive. Dinner overnight Mikumi Tented Camp.

Day – 11 - Mikumi – Dar Es Salaam.

Sunrise tour until 11.00a.m return to Camp for branch and depart to Dar arriving late evening. Dinner overnight at Peacock Hotel or similar.

Day – 10 - Ngorongoro – Tarangire National Park.

ASA - 09 - UHURU PEAK TRAIL - MACHAME ROUTE.

Day – 1 & 2 – United States – Amsterdam - Kilimanjaro.

Day – 3 - Machame Gate - Machame Hut -10 km, 5 - 6hrs.

From your hotel, transfer to the gate for registration and start the trek up hill, through mountain forest to Machame Hut - 3000m above sea level. Dinner overnight at Machame Hut.

Day – 4 - Machame Hut - Shira Hut – 10 km, 5 - 7 hrs.

Leave Machame hut in the morning, path leads up through steep rocky ridges. Shira hut at 3840m above sea level is reached in the late afternoon. You have superb views of the Shira Plateau and the land below from here. Mount Meru another extinct volcano is seen on the South Western direction. Dinner overnight Shira Hut.

Day – 5 - Shira Hut - Barranco Hut - 10 km, 6 -7 hrs.

Depart Shira hut in the morning taking the path which rises up gradually towards the Kibo dome; after reaching the Wedge Buttress point the path drops down to the Barranco Valley. Barranco hut at 3950m above sea level is reached in the late afternoon. Dinner overnight.

Day – 6 - Barranco Hut – Barafu Hut – 10 km, 7 - 9 hrs.

Leave Barranco hut and cross the floor of the Great Barranco Valley and up to the Barranco wall; continue the trek on the south circuit path passing through the Karanga Valley (last water point - Karanga River). Your path joints the Mweka route and up the broad ridge to Barafu Hut at 4600m above sea level. From Barafu hut you have excellent views of the top section of the Kibo dome, the Mawenzi peak and plains below. Dinner overnight.

Day – 7 - Barafu Hut – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Hut.

Between midnight and one (1am) start the trek to conquer the highest point in Africa. This section of the route is very steep and is considered the steepest on the non-technical path on this mountain. You will encounter at least five (5) grueling hours to reach the crater rim at Stella Point 5700m above sea level. Uhuru Peak 5895m is reached after One (1) hours from Stella point. The fascinating colors changing sunrise is the right reward at Uhuru Peak. The descent is past Stella Point (5700m above sea level) down to Mweka hut for overnight.

Day – 8 - Mweka Hut – Mweka Gate – Arusha.

This day is spent for a leisurely descent to the gate and transfer to Impala Hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day – 9 - Arusha – Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater.

Breakfast, 08.30 a.m leave your Hotel for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game viewing. Ascend 600m the Great Rift Valley walls to Lake Manyara Hotel or similar for lunch. Afternoon rest at the swimming pool. Evening Proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

Day –3 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

Evening drive to Tamarind Camp on the boundary of Tarangire National Park following the Sand River, exploring the diverse habitats in search of predators. Dinner overnight Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day – 4 - Tarangire.

After breakfast leave for further game-drive in the morning, returning to the Camp for lunch and a siesta before enjoying a guided walk close to the boundary of the park, or to see a Maasai “Boma” or village. Dinner overnight.

Day – 5 - Tarangire – Lake Manyara.

Depart on safari after breakfast, driving across plains and through rolling hills to Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge Or Lake Manyara Serena Hotel. The drive to the Hotel takes approximately 01:30 hours. The Hotels are situated on the Rift Valley Escarpment with magnificent views over the Lake below. After lunch, descend to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game-drive. The Park supports a wide variety of game in a relatively small area due to the diversity of habitats, ground water forest, acacia woodlands, open grassland and the lake itself, a haven for bird life and hippo. Manyara is famous for its tree climbing lions and plentiful elephants usually seen at close quarters.

Day – 6 - Still At Lake Manyara.

After breakfast descend 610m into the Crater floor for a tour around the Lerai Acacia forest looking for giant-tusked elephant and the rare black rhino and the black-manned lion. Ascend to your Lodge for lunch. Afternoon free at the lounge. Evening visit the Maasai Bomas to interact with their culture. Dinner overnight.

Day – 12 - Ngorongoro – Lake Eyasi. (Camping.)

After breakfast drive to Mang'ola at Lake Eyasi which lays to the south of the Ngorongoro Crater, passing through the arable land of Karatu. The night will be spent at the chemichemi camp water spring where fresh water comes from the Ngorongoro Crater highlands. In the evening your guide will tell you about the history and culture of Hadzabe and Datoga. Dinner overnight at the Campsite.

Day – 13 - Still At Lake Eyasi.

Early morning tea/coffee go hunting with the Hadzabe. For them hunting and collecting honey is not a funny activity but a daily obligation. Don't be surprised if you are given a bow and arrow to hunt. With little luck you may experience a successful kill. Part of the meat will be eaten among the hunters, while the rest will be taken home for their wives and children's. Break for lunch at the camp. Late evening you will visit another tribe Datoga or a Mang'ati who are the Maasai cattle rustlers. Dinner overnight.

Day – 14 - Lake Eyasi – Arusha.

After breakfast depart for flamingo tour on the shores of lake Eyasi. Break for lunch at the camp and depart to Arusha with stop over at Oldoinyo Orok or Heritage center for purchases of carvings and precious stones, arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight at Arusha Hotel or similar.

Day – 15 - Arusha National Park.

Breakfast, leave for Arusha National park. With armed Ranger, leave for a walking Safari in the park. Lunch break at Momella Lodge. Afternoon tour of the seven (7) Momella Lakes for flamingo viewing. Dinner overnight.

Day – 16 & 17 - Arusha Park – Arusha – Amsterdam – United States.

Day – 3 – Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater where in the afternoon you descend 610 m. for a fascinating game viewing on the crater floor. In a landscape reminiscent of the volcanic upheavals of the Rift Valley, the worlds largest unbroken, un flooded volcanic caldera covering an area of 300 sq km. In this restricted space, exceptional climatic conditions have favored an explosion of animal life. Olduvai Gorge, revered by anthropologists worldwide since 1959, when Mary Leakey discovered an early human skull reputed to be 1.7 million years old. Continue to Serengeti visiting Ndutu Soda lake. On the seemingly endless and almost treeless plains with game viewing en-route in search of the big five Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. Picnic lunch is served. Afternoon proceed leisurely to Serengeti Serena Lodge or similar with game viewing en-route for dinner and overnight.

Day – 5 – Seronera Balloon Safari – Ngorongoro.

Early breakfast drive to Seronera Balloon launch site. The flight will take approximately one hour. Champagne full English breakfast will be served in the bush. Drive back to Seronera balloon office for flight Certificates and onwards to your lodge. Spend the day at leisure at the lounge to acclimatize from the Balloon safari until lunch time. Late afternoon depart to Seronera airstrip for your flight to Arusha airport and drive to Impala Hotel or similar for dinner and overnight.

Day – 6 - Arusha – Kigoma.

After breakfast transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for Precision Air flight to Kigoma via Dar es Salaam. On arrival at Kigoma airport meet and transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for lunch. Afternoon leave for sightseeing visiting Dr. Livingstone memorial Hall. Dinner overnight.

Day – 7 – Kigoma - Mahale National Park.

After breakfast depart to Mahale Mountain National Park with speedboat, snacks and drinks will be served half way. On arrival transfer to Nkungwe Tented Camp for lunch. Day – 8 - Mahale – Kigoma.

Early breakfast depart to view the Mahale Mountain chain scenery en-route to Kigoma snacks and drinks on the way. Lunch at Kigoma Hilltop sangara restaurant. Afternoon and evening free at the swimming pool. Dinner overnight.

Day – 9 – Kigoma – Gombe Stream.

Early breakfast depart to Gombe National Park by speedboat. Lunch at Gombe luxury Tented Camp. Afternoon game viewing at the park, later visit the waterfalls. Return to the Camp for evening tea/coffee and snacks. Dinner overnight.

Day – 10 – Gombe – Kigoma.

After breakfast depart to climb to the peak of the hill, break for lunch at the beach. Afternoon further game viewing. Late evening depart to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day – 11 & 12 – Kigoma – Dar Es Salaam – United States.

After breakfast in a shuttle bus service depart for Kigoma town for sightseeing en-route to the airport for schedule flight at 11.10 a.m. for Dar es Salaam arriving in time for lunch at your day room Hotel. Afternoon free. Evening sightseeing around the city center for purchases of souvenir. Late evening transfer to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your home bound flight.

ASA – 13 – SPECIAL WALKING SAFARI – NGORONGORO CRATER HIGHLAND.

Day – 1 & 2 – United States – Amsterdam - Kilimanjaro.
Begin your journey to Africa aboard your flight on Northwest Airlines and arrive in Amsterdam International Airport the following morning. Continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where we are met on arrival and transferred to Hotel booked.

Day – 3 - Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater.

Breakfast at 08:00 a.m. leave your Hotel leisurely passing through Mto wa Mbu fruit market, Karatu wheat farms arriving in Ngorongoro in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Norongoro Serena Lodge. Afternoon descend 610 m. into the Crater floor for game viewing. Late evening ascend to the Crater rim to your Hotel for dinner overnight.

Day - 4 - After breakfast descend into the crater floor for further game onwards to Nainokanoka village 50 km. A visit to the Munge River, which drains its water into the crater, is inevitable. Dinner overnight.
Day - 5 - Nainokanoka To Embakaai Crater.

After breakfast pack your luggage on donkeys accompanied with Maasai escort worrier and start your trek through the beautiful Maasai land for 7 to 8 hrs. Dinner overnight at Embakaai crater.
Day - 6 - Embakaai Crater To Naiyobi Village.

After breakfast start walking on the rim of the crater heading for Naiyobi Village 7 km, (3hrs) walking. Here you fill the water bottles and have lunch, then proceed for (2hrs) and camp under the Acacia trees. Dinner overnight.
Day - 7 - Naiyobi Village To Ngaresero Village.

After breakfast depart through the beautiful landscape down to the floor of the Rift Valley. The Car will pick you and drive to Lake Natron camp. Dinner overnight.

Day – 8 - Ngaresero To Lake Natron.

Early morning leave for Flamingo tour on Lake Natron. Lunch break at the Camp. Afternoon visit the Engaresero river waterfalls for a swim. Dinner overnight.

Day - 9 - Ngaresero To Oldonyo Lengai Summit.

In the midnight you start climbing the active Volcano Oldoinyo Lengai. It takes 06:00 hrs to the summit (2878m). After descending (2-3hrs walk) a car will pick you and return to the campsite for lunch, there after you proceed to Arusha arriving at Arusha Hotel or similar late in the evening. Dinner overnight.

Day - 10 & 11 - Arusha – Amsterdam – United States.

After breakfast leave for Arusha sightseeing visiting the Heritage Centre for purchases of carvings and precious stones. Lunch break at your Hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure at the swimming pool. Late evening transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home bound flight by KLM via Amsterdam.

ASA – 14 – SPECIAL FLY AND LAND SAFARI.

Day – 1 & 2 – United States – Amsterdam - Kilimanjaro.

Day – 3, 4 & 5 – Arusha - Lake Manyara.

After breakfast transfer to Arusha airstrip for your flight to Lake Manyara airstrip. On arrival meet and transfer to your relocated special campsite our temporary home for three nights. Lake National Park is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants, and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards, lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake, and were once known for their habit of climbing trees. You will go for boat ride in the Lake, visit places of interest like the hot water sulphur springs (60^OC.) called Maji moto reputedly cooking an egg in about 30 minutes.

Day – 6 - Lame Manyara - Ngorongoro.

After breakfast drive Ngorongoro Crater passing through Karatu wheat farms to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or similar for lunch. We will spend two nights in Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best-known wildlife-viewing areas, and one of the largest intact crater basins in the world. Afternoon descend 610m into the crater’s grassland floor, 2,000 feet below the forested rim. Here, experience spectacular game runs and view animals such as lion, elephant, wildebeest, thomson’s gazelle, rhino and thousands of flamingoes wading in Lake Magadi at the crater’s base. Evening visit the Maasai Bomas to interact with their culture returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day – 7 - Ngorongoro.

After breakfast, descend once again to the Crater floor for morning game drive to the crater floor with picnic lunches. This most spectacular of the African game reserve contains one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania with over 35,000 animals living within the crater. Late evening ascend back to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day – 8, 9, 10, 11& 12 - Serengeti.

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge, revered by anthropologists worldwide since 1959, when Mary Leakey discovered an early human skull reputed to be 1.7 million years old. Continue to your relocated campsite in Serengeti where you will spend the rest five memorable nights. Enjoying the endless plains of Serengeti with game viewing, encountering one of the most incredible sights you will ever see. An unending stream of wildebeest pour across the plains, while a parade of hungry Predators lion, leopard and cheetah anxiously try to prey upon the youngest or weakest members of the herd. Picnic Lunch is served, afternoon game drive. Dinner overnight at the Campsite.

Day – 13 & 14 – Serengeti – Arusha – Amsterdam – United States.

After breakfast leave your camp and drive to Seronera airstrip with game viewing en-route for your flight back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch at Arusha Hotel or similar. After breakfast, leave for Arusha Airport for your flight to Lake Manyara. On arrival meet and transfer to Lake Manyara Serena or similar check in your Hotel and depart for a full day game viewing with picnic lunch. Lake Manyara, a birdwatcher’s paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment; elephants stand in the shade of the baobab; and in the acacia woodland, lion’s lie draped along the branches of the umbrella trees Dinner overnight.

Day – 4 - Lake Manyara - Serengeti.
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara Airstrip for your flight to Serengeti National Park. On arrival meet and transfer to Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Serengeti Serena Lodge with game viewing en-route. Short break at the Lounge, with snacks while waiting for your lunch. Afternoon leave for game viewing to explore the Serengeti plains searching for the predator, Lion, Cheetah and possibly the secret Leopard. Late evening return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day – 5 – Serengeti – Ngorongoro.

After early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater with game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge; later you descend 2000ft for a fascinating game drive on the crater floor. In a landscape reminiscent of the volcanic upheavals of the Rift Valley, the world's largest unbroken, un flooded volcanic caldera (collapsed cone of a volcano) covers 300 sq km In this restricted space, exceptional climatic conditions have favoured an explosion of animal life. Some 20,000 great mammals are permanently in residence, as there are permanent water springs here there is no need to migrate. Ascend to your Lodge for lunch. Afternoon free. Day – 6 - Ngorongoro – Serengeti.

After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and proceed to Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.
